When the supporting braids are too tight, it can cause headaches and pain in the scalp, in addition to scabbing and possible hair loss.
When the hair is not washed routinely, there might be a buildup of bacteria, potentially causing infection.
Not as adaptable in terms of styling choices.

Tape In Extensions

Tape In extensions are a somewhat new technique of hair extensions, in which are applied using a polyurethane tape, possibly double or single sided, subject to the thickness of natural hair.
